Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo is a Japanese adaptation of the anime itazura-na-kiss and played by Yuki Furukawa as Irie Naoki and Honoka Miki as Aihara Kotoko.
In my own opinion, this version is better than the other two though I haven’t watched the Korea’s adaptation of this anime. (favoritism eh? hahaha) nah ! I watched It started with a Kiss and They Kiss Again (Taiwanese version) and it was pretty good as well. Ariel Lin sure made an impression to me as well as Joe Cheng. I first watched it in Tagalog dubbed and I fell in love with the show right away, however, when I started to watch the Japanese version, I realized to myself that this is way better than ISWAK and TKA.
Maybe because it is japanese? I don’t think so. They acted naturally and not to mention that they almost looked the same as what the anime look like. I like how Yuki talk and the sound of his voice. If you close your eyes while listening to him, you’ll feel like you are watching an anime. For Miki, she is one of the most hilarious character I have ever watched. And she’s pretty even though she’s making those funny faces. Like her smile as well.
You sure need to expect a lot in this adaptation. I remembered how many times it disappointed me for the scenes that I thought would happen but turned out to be more romantic. My disappointments turned to smile 🙂
There are two seasons just like the anime but for this adaptation, I am hoping for a 3rd season. It was really good! Good Job Senpai Tada Kaoru !
